We are in round two of Delhi Government’s odd numbered cars on odd dates and even number cars on even dates experiment. While this experiment is going on between 15th April 2016 to 30th April 2016, I have following thoughts:
- How much time and effort was spent in analyzing the reasons for pollution in Delhi?
- If a study was done, what are the results of that study?
- Did this study suggest multiple solutions to Delhi’s pollution problem?
- What solutions were suggested?
- Why Odd / Even Number car experiment decision was given priority over other sulutions?
I think the government should come with a 1 year / 2 year / 3 year / 5 year / 10 year / 20 year / 50 year plan to combat pollution in Delhi.
Meanwhile, Delhi residents are more happy with fewer traffic jams and decreased commuting time to their destinations than pollution!
Because time we can measure ourselves but for pollution we rely on numbers from different agencies who must have impeccable reputations.
